We were driving in winter from CA to Idaho. We got 2 flat tires from sharp rocks in the middle of nowhere in WA. It was dark and freezing,

A car stopped, they fit the three of us and two tires into their car. It was a couple heading home from a funeral. They brought us to their home, fed us with left overs from the funeral reception and let us spend the night.

Next morning was a Sunday, nothing open. They had a friend that had a tire shop who came and fixed our tires. We were on our way again feeling blessed to meet these wonderful people.
50 years ago and I still feel like angels were there that night.

Good stuff happens.

We were coming home on a two month vacation my dad had taken to visit my moms sister and her family in Alaska. A deer jumped off an embankment in front of the car, the impact pushed the radiator into the fan, making a hole which drained the fluid. Things were not looking good. Then a man drove up and towed us to his house where we spent the night. Got up to breakfast in the morning and the man had a torch my dad used to solder the hole in the radiator shut, we filled it and drove on home. Angles come in all shapes and sizes.
