Country music fan upset with Brad Paisley.

Brad got into their dog house when he performed at the White House and said some nice things about Obama. Now he has committed another repuke sin -- performing with Garrison Keillor on Prairie Home Companion this past Saturday. "I don't like that fellar no more. He done jumped in bed with 'em damn commie libruls." And so it goes in today's world of country music.

I don't think everything has to be diverse at all times either. But it has struck me as funny how unbelievably white that show is. I mean c'mon . . . Dusty and Lefty? Lutheran jell-o? Norway?

There was a cute moment in the second season of 'The Wire' where one of the drug dealers leaves Baltimore for the first time in his life. The radio ends up on that show and he gets this hilarious quizzical look on his face. A couple scenes later it cuts back to him finally arriving at his destination, presumably hours later, and he's still listening to it

In an interview with the show's creator, he mentioned that scene was inspired by his going on a road trip with a Baltimore drug dealer and listening to the show in the car with him. The kid's reaction was essentially 'WTF, white people are crazy.'

Trust me, that might be seen as the bigger "bed jumping" sin.

before she came out. I was just reading an article recently that she's getting a lot of private support from folks within the industry but the only one the congratulated her strength in public is Mary Chapin Carpenter... whom I happen to like a lot but isn't really relevant in the industry any more.
