Biden had zero serious challengers in 2024. Trump had DeSantis and a host of others.

And he was running unopposed.

No, this isnt a matter of an incumbant vs a challenger. Tsf was an incumbant in his party. An incumbant who was challenged.

When an incumbant is challenged, it usually doesnt end well.

Our side was not in disarray.

In fact, I'm a bit surprised that he didn't put up more of a challenge to Trump. I thought that his mindless lemmings would shift over to a younger, smarter, and more electable candidate.

Head of the party, controlled the rules committee, controlled the media strings and the donor class.

The other candidates never stood a chance. Fox evicerated them at every turn.

Remember puddin fingers? Remember tsf's campaign team inviting cable anchors and producers to dinner and giving them pudding cups?

If I were to adopt the persona of a right-wing individual, my primary objective would remain unchanged: achieving victory. It raises the question of why they would not choose a candidate in his 40's, and one who possesses greater intelligence.

I suppose that you are correct. Regardless of my efforts to understand their perspective, I find it challenging to comprehend their thoughts. It is likely that they believe Trump would perform more favorably in the General Election compared to Ron.
