Painting is keeping me sane

and off of news and social media.
Most of us are suffering depression right now. All of my friends just cannot wrap their head around this so I'll be painting from now until who knows when. Thanks for the support from all the DU people here.

I'm struggling and trying to help friends.

Watercolors are pretty hard. You show very good control in the delicate washes, and the shape of the snowman's hat covered w some snow.

Don't think it took too long, either.

29. I can't paint in fact I hate to paint anywhere anyhow. Fly Tying is my Diazepam without opening a bottle.

I think I'll start with a few of these as soon as I find the five components it takes. I know they are stored away in vacuum storage bags here.
I already found 4 of the necessary components.

I'm missing one.... any other fly tyers out there? Guess what I'm missing.

This would make a great Christmas card! You certainly have mastered the watercolor technique! It is beautiful and cheerful. Reminds me of days gone by when we were carefree kids and never had any worries. When we actually had enough snow to play in, build a snowman, go sledding, etc.

I have been such a mental slug this past week. Ugh. Just can’t bring myself to be creative at all.

Even if Musk wasn’t involved, the dirty deeds by the GOP in the red states sure purged a lot of voters from the rolls. Millions in some states!
