Saw the first two Obama ads that I have seen ---on the Food Network today

Nasty rainy day here in Richmond. We have the Food Network on as our little girl is working on crafts and mom and I are doing household stuff.

Good ad. I have passed by it twice since 2:00.

Nice group to target.

Here is the ad.

Start off by playing up some accomplishments instead of turning nasty attack ads which aren't needed yet.

I only have basic cable and local (mostly RW radio) so I never hear or see any Democratic or Obama political ads here in Northeast GA. In fact, I don't ever remember seeing or hearing any Obama ads EVER here in my part of GA.

I always read (on DU) about ads in other states and I watch ads online, however, those ads never are run on TV or radio in Georgia (or if they are, it's not where I live.) It is so strange to live in such a right wing media bubble. It is as if the national (much less the state) Democratic party does not exist. I suppose the national Dems have abandoned Georgia.

We have not felt the full brunt of being a swingstate yet (even in 2008) but we are about too.

I don't think people realize the inundation that is about to happen.

I am still so upset that our GA youth voters (mostly) only voted for Obama in the presidential election and did not vote at all (the "undervote&quot for the other Democratic candidates on the ballots.

The young people have no idea how important it is to elect Democrats to the local, state and federal legislatures. We could have elected a Democrat to a federal senatorial seat if only the youth had cast their votes for more (local and state candidates) than only Obama.

The first time, youth voters just don't realize how important it is to have the Democratic party win in more than just the presidential election race.

I post "Well Virginia" I should have put a comma in there

WV is basically owned by the NRA. Throwing money in there is a waste of time like Arkansas and Tennessee.

and WV is the only state that has not sent in a video. I know it's stupid, but I like Jimmy Fallon.

BTW, I was raised by right wing, John Birch, Ayn Rand Repubs in Tennessee. I am the only liberal in my family!

however, I am now a proud liberal and my family tolerates me.

It was much easier to be a Democrat in GA when we had people like Wyche Fowler and Max Cleland as our senators.
The repubs redistricted the congressional district so that now I have Uber-crazy Paul Broun as my congressman.
