Why are we doing this? We have a majority, why aren't we filling up those appointments as fast as we can go?
Stop playing nice and by the old line political rules, that's dead in the water. Is Trump an existential threat to Democracy, or isn't he? If he is, then act like it.

(91,776 posts)...here's our majority leader managing republican obstruction effectively, and the poster wants to put the blame for that obstructions on Democrats, suggesting without any real suggestion that they don't know who their opponents are, and that they're 'playing nice' by getting several more times the judges approved than the already doomed nominations.
You want better results, lees? Elect more Democrats to the Senate and the House.
Real Democrats, not ones who abandon the party and work against it, like this guy:
Manchin said he would not support Adeel Mangi, who would be the first Muslim American judge to serve on the federal appeals court if confirmed. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) previously announced her opposition to Mangi.
Manchin, who is retiring at the end of the year, told Politico this week he would not back any Biden judicial picks who didnt garner at least one GOP vote.

...now, who is holding up the nominations? Who is playing nice with republicans?
Tell the truth, lees.
