So this speech tonight that Romney is giving is really good...

From a rhetorical and delivery POV.

I wonder if he knows that it is all over for him that he in not really going to win.

So I wonder if he is having a moment of clearity and that his dream will no longer be attainable and that he feels liberated.

In the minds of a lot of people in the party.

They look at how small of a percentage he is getting after starting out in such a great position....

They have to be wondering why the rank and file in all of these three divergent states are not warming up to Romney.

I think they see something in the polling that says these people will not be jazzed about Romeny as they approach the General and that president Obama could bring back a whole lot of Democrats to DC...

That's what I think...

I remember thinking the same thing about McCain, near the end of the campaign.

I thought perhaps he was just having fun since he'd realized it was over, that he couldn't win...

And that since the free enterprise system is what made America great, any attack on him is an attack on America.

And that he would expect something like that from President Obama but not from a fellow Republican.
