This really says a lot about the republican mind

That they're willing to promote a vicious, ethically disabled, serial philandering hypocrite with delusions of grandeur is pretty much proof that they're no better suited to involve themselves in politics than a flock of pidgeons shitting on a statue.

Oh, by the way... The greed obsessed nimrod, the overly pious, homophobic misogynist and the tin foil hat wearing dwarf are no better.

Their party is seriously broken.

Unfortunately, this has far reaching consequences for Democrats, Independents and Republicans alike.

and his ilk. I could not stand the embarrassment of having my name associated with such people. A short few years later, I changed my name and ended up here, at the Democratic Underground protesting the theft of the 2000 election. Never looked back until tonight, only to think if I had not left then, I would have had to have left a thousand times over since then.

who is playing the "class warfare" card ??? I think the GOP has been playing it all along and now they are turning it agaist themselves. It appears that many of them hate Romney's wealth more than the Dems. But you know, the media is very silent about this.

I like my sanity too much.

However, most of the complaints about Mittens channelling of Gordon Gekko, that I've heard, have come from the left.

I haven't heard of any from the right. Which would be natural for them to be mute about his gaffes of greed... He's speaking their lingua franca.

And you're right, the GOP is playing the class warfare card. They're playing on a fatal flaw in the American psyche, i.e., the worship of greed and an appeal for bucks from the oligarchy.
