Lowering prescription drug costs was harmful to the drug companies, I suppose; so Biden's EO had to be rescinded. If the rescission is harmful to the people who need the drugs - well, too bad, so sad.

If folks who need those lower-cost drugs voted for Trump, the leopards will eat well.

Why did he do that?

Why is he so damn evil? Doesn't his followers need them? Take a look at the average MAGAt, old and/or morbidly obese, many of them rely on these medications.

They would rather cut off their nose to spite their face. If they do complain, they'll get their red meat to snack on to keep them happy. Invasion at the. border, trans folks, Biden, Obama, Hillary, 'DEI. They'll forget all about it and accept going without medication or paying more for it.

ways of reducing drug costs. trump 1st term even had an executive order about lowering costs (I laughed too).

Think we are in an era where every new admin rescinds most previous EO.

Now, if the MFer goes after legislation enacted by Congress, think he’ll run into obstacles.

Now, if he goes against $35 insulin, $2000 Medicare drug cap, annual drug negotiations for selected drugs, etc. that’s a different matter. But those were enacted by Congress, and are harder to overturn.

Most EOs are just for show and have little authority. I’d bet trump’s EO on reducing drug prices didn’t produce anything. I’d almost bet Biden’s didn’t either. They seldom do.

Could be wrong, but don’t think Congress will remove cap (other than maybe inflation increase). Lots of GOPers have diabetes. They might rescind aspects of IRA and rename it to honor trump, but think cap is safe. But I am often wrong.

Of course Donnie will just blame Dems for prescription prices and everyone will lap it up as always 😞

But I do have to seriously wonder why we continue to hopelessly chase working class voters, rural white folks and so-called "independents" when every two years they enthusiastically vote against their own best interests just to "piss off the libs"... Feels like this whole charade is one big con...

Pounding out election postmortems about how Dems have "abandoned the working class" while TFG "speaks their language" would be exposed as a fucking idiot during Donnie's first week...

Which reminds me -- You know who I haven't heard a single peep from in 9 weeks? ALL those millions of Trumpers on social media and interviewed by the news screeching about not being able to afford groceries even in a two-income household... I miss all those Trumpers posting their bullshit photos showing "THIS IS WHAT $200 OF GROCERIES LOOKS LIKE AND I THIS ONLY LASTS FOUR DAYS!!"

WHERE did they all go?!
