Lets take a look at the calendar together

I don't know who is going to win Florida, though it should be Romney. Nevada should be all about Romney (mormons) and Paul. Nevada was one of Romney's best early states in 2008. Maine has hard right wingers in the state, but Romney should be the regional favorite.

Then there's Colorado. Romney did well there 4 years ago. I don't know about MN and MO.

Then there's Arizona (mormons) and Michigan (Romney's dad).

So prior to Super Tuesday, Romney is the favorite in Nevada, Maine, and Colorado, AZ and Michigan. Who knows about MN and MO? But Florida will play huge. Because whoever wins will deny their rival a major victory. If Romney wins, he can keep rolling due to the benefit of the calendar. If Gingrich wins, he gets himself some space before some tougher states.

Newt is not on the ballot for the MO primary, but it's only a beauty contest. Delegates will be awarded after the caucus later in the season. If I were Newt, I would tell my supporters in Nevada to vote for Paul and see if they can deny Mitt a win there.

Neither Nevada or Arizona have enough mormons to make any impact.

And Arizona elected Mecham governor, though he might be a tad more sleazy than the Mittster.
