You just want to watch it slapped off his face.
Newt makes me nervous, don't ask me why, I don't think his own friends trust him.

and by there, I mean anywhere.

He is incapable of shame.

Only a matter of time, however...the American people on the whole do eventually run out of patience with these types, in my experience. They are like bad car accidents. Everyone stops to gawk, but eventually moves on.

debate when he was asked for the UMTEENTH FUCKING TIME if he would release his tax records -- he was sputtering and searching as though that was the first time the topic had been broached.

Imagine how he'll disintegrate when he's faced he gives some dumb response and Obama calls him on it.

Plus, I can't help but think just the ENERGY of Obama would be intimidating. Romney would be Jell-O.

That way, we could hear the president respond intelligently to questions put to him, and occasionally spend some time watching a kangaroo hop around and amuse children.

That's television the whole family can enjoy.

The contrast between the calm collected intelligent Obama and the bombastic blowhard Gingrich would be stark and very telling.

And when he tries to trot out his racist BS, he will humiliate Newt. Obama can talk about it credibly with class. And it will drive Newt crazy to have that uppity president talk down to him.

a crack head try to explain himself to a very wise zen master.

Against Romney, Obama would come off as much more informed, much more relaxed, and he'd actually look human instead of robotic.

Against Gingrich, Obama would struggle to talk, since I'm sure Newt would blather on forever, saying nothing eloquently, but sooner or later Newt would look like a pompous, arrogant, hypocritical asshole, and all Obama will have to do is be Barack Obama.

I like both these match-ups.
