perfect pitch doesn't mean being able to remain in tune/stick with one key.

It means someone says "sing x over high C" and a person can sing that exact note.

Relative pitch means that when someone plays the first note, you can figure out/sing notes a particular interval away from that note.

I sung with a number of folks with perfect pitch and they can get you the first note and it matches what the tuning fork/iPod app says that note is.
