"America is looking a lot more like Greece"

I thought I would break from my routine and check in with Faux news.

Just heard Stewart Varney say, "America is looking a lot more like Greece".

Krauthamer said, it's "a complete surrender" by conservatives.

Oh, yeah and taxes are going up for EVERYBODY!

... Americans are WAAAAAYYYYYYY too cowardly to go on a general strike. The few Americans brave enough to attempt something like that (OWS) got truncheoned and pepper-sprayed into submission. If that hadn't worked, they would've been microwaved into submission.

The line "Home of the brave" is ludicrous.

He's fighting for the "underdog"!

Anyway, about the sentiment that Greece is looking like the US... what a bunch of hyperbolic BS.

Are the CNBC commentators so stupid and innumerate that they don't understand the difference between a small country chained to debts in a foreign currency, and a superpower with a printing press that prints what is still considered to be the world's reserve currency? Or do they understand, but they are willing to tell lies in order to further their right-wing agenda?

Either way, why would anyone possibly want to listen to what they had to say?

She has a Ph.D. in economics (Univ of Mass) and stated, IIRC, that America is not looking at all like Greece and that would never actually happen here; the economies are completely different.

I'm getting sooooo tired of the Right Wingers making people believe these things when they are far from true.
