WND Floats Armed Resistance to Obama AdministrationSubmitted by Brian Tashman on Thursday, 12/20/2012 12:15 pm
Earlier this week, WorldNetDaily columnist and regular Fox News guest Erik Rush tweeted a video arguing that President Obama orchestrated the Sandy Hook and Aurora, Colorado shootings in order to cover-up a massive government scandal, forcibly disarm Americans, put people in concentration camps and start a civil war. Of course the conspiracy theory is complete nonsense, but Rush doesnt think so.
Today in WND, Rush effectively suggested that people should begin an armed revolt against the government: There are also Americans some misguided, some ideologues who work every day of the week in the cause of compromising our liberties, Rush writes, I suppose suggesting that we shoot them wouldnt be taken very well although that is precisely what it came down to 236 years ago.

Ahh, so here is the reason reich wingers are so in love with their assault weapons...they need them to murder fellow Americans who disagree politically with them.

(11,464 posts)It took a long time to understand what went down there, very confusing
because as a NYer, I never heard of people stockpiling guns to overthrow a government in the USA.
Once I found out that, it made sense that the people Koresh had with him were the dangers, and is why Koresh never was arrested outside. Because the problem was inside.
and cowards like McVeigh were terrorists, and those who kill a number of people with guns should be treated like terrorists
and I welcome any and all drones to go after anyone attempting to overthrow the government.
The penalty for treason is death and it is the single worst crime that can be committed against a nation.
Drone them.
If one can be checked going into a concert for booze and drugs, and frisked that way, as I have for 35 years at Madison Square Garden in NYC, then lets get more security.
These bozos anyhow think a puny gun would stop a drone?
Do they think they would do any better than the did in the Civil War? They lost, got their
asses kicked and only a benevloent president Lincoln let them live with dignity after.
When Alqueda sends a message, it is looked at for hidden messages before allowing it to be heard publicly(or not heard at all). Time for the rightwing media to either grow up or shut up.
Propaganda in WW2 was not looked on kindly.
We are now in a war with the NRA
let's call guns WMD as they are weapons, they kill in mass, and they are destruction tools
and lets call the NRA a terrorist org and freeze their money
people have a right to assemble peacefully
that means 100% NO guns
if groups meet and one person, even a plant has a gun, well, the peace is broken
therefore massive security is needed
and all peaceful groups should not mind the security, as it tells them they are indeed safe and then can meet peacefully
More camera, more security, more taking out the guns
only cops on city, state, federal and the National Guard and the US military should have guns on the street
(even those should when not on duty leave their weapon off the street).
Zimmerman proved what vigillantism can do when he slain an innocent man who might just have had the cure for cancer in ten years time.
Those with nothing to hide, should not fear this.

Zombies totally disagree with you.
The only way to settle an argument with a zombie is to kill it with an impressive-looking gun.
Is this why zombies are all over right-wing-owned TV?
Your not the only one who thinks this.

(7,887 posts)Reckless public endangerment. Inciting to riot. Seditious speech that advocates violence.
In a time of war, when Texas and how many other states have already tried to secede from the Union, we have a guy who publishes online and is a guest on FAUX News... so how many people follow him on Twitter? More than 10? A guy who is making heated accusations and suggesting rash action to a LARGE audience - whose mental health he can in no way vouch for - he is suggesting after a rash of shootings that have shaken the country that we blame Obama and go shoot people.
Going after him might not result in any legal ground gained, but he'll be covering his butt in such a way that he'll do what he can to discourage people from actually going out and shooting anyone. Because if that happened during a lawsuit, it sure wouldn't help his case any.

<snip>
The U.S. Supreme Court has held that government may not prohibit speech that advocates illegal or subversive activity unless "such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action" (Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395U.S. 444, 89 S. Ct. 1827, 23 L. Ed. 2d 430 [1969]).
<snip>
English Common Law permitted prosecution for libelous and seditious material after publication. Thus, the law protected vituperative political publications only insofar as the author was prepared to serve time in jail or to pay a fine for wrongful published attacks.
