Don't get me wrong - I know there was a chance that something bad could happen and financially it would impact us dearly.
However...
I knew this bill would have been passed before we 'went off the cliff' so to speak. I just found everytime I watched or read the news it was just a lot of 'OMG WE'RE GOING TO DIE WHEN WE GO OFF THIS FISCAL CLIFF' hype that honestly, I just wasn't buying.

(20,166 posts)Same with the "oh, it's too close to call" crap in the previous election. The pundits I listened to (who turned out to be accurate) all said it was going to be Obama, hands down, popular and electoral vote.
So it goes when, to use an old U2 line here, fact is fiction and TV reality.
