"I am not dealing with the Tea Party..."

Watching Christie skewer Boehner for shafting the Sandy victims last night, and a reported asked about the involvement of the Tea Party, and immediately, Chrisie says, "I am not dealing with the Tea Party."

is that they have no idea what the actually Tea Party was all about. Today's anarchists have way more in common with the original Tea Partiers than these losers do. The real Tea Party dressed up in Native American costumes and destroyed corporate and government property in a manner in which they would be labeled terrorists today.

These idiots think that by waving flags and railing against "gubnment health care" that they're true freedom fighters. The real Tea Party would be not only laughing their asses off at them, but they'd probably also be very ashamed at how they've co-opted their name.

the traditional Tea Party was more anti-corporate than anti-government than anything else...definitely anarchists that opposed the proto-fascism of the time that would later appear in totalitarian regimes in the 20th century.

who repeat the same idiotic talking point that "America doesn't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem". Then when asked what they want to cut, which they're not asked often enough in my opinion, they either have no answer or they propose cutting something that will not put a dent in the deficit. When they do propose to cut something that actually would put a dent in the deficit, they go about it In the wrong way and propose cuts that will hurt the poor and middle class - they are definitely not smart about how to cut and where to cut. They also won't propose military cuts and therefore cannot be taken seriously. I really cannot stand when they're not called out during interviews when they're spewing their bs.
