(38,437 posts)... upset our local Obama Bashers.
A Simple Game
(9,214 posts)Can you remember the last post you had where you didn't call people names?
So you don't like people on the right, I assume those are the "knuckledraggers". You don't like "Obama Bashers" which I assume you believe are liberals. So who do you like and where does that put you?
By the way, I am what you call an "Obama Basher" and I am in no way upset by this news, why would you think I would be? I am more than happy to give President Obama full credit for what has happened to the Dow during his tenure.

(9,214 posts)But that's what those on the right normally do, shouldn't have surprised me.
You do know this is a liberal web site?

(38,437 posts)And here I thought it was a Rush Limbaugh Appreciation bulletin board. What a waste of 25,000 posts.
Here's the insult you came looking for -- ready?
Could you be a bigger dolt? You beat me over the head with calling rightwingers "knuckledraggers" and then feel compelled to remind me that this is a liberal site? Try to keep a consistent thread in your screeds, okay?

(9,214 posts)to put the liberals on DU on the same level with your "Obama Bashers" name calling. You know the liberals on DU refer to him as President Obama, you can call him whatever you want, I doubt I could stop you anyway.
More name calling, wow, that's a surprise. People must love having conversations with you. Yes I would think most of your 25000 posts were a waste.

(31,922 posts)because leftists have been laughing (and crying) at the description of Obama as a "socialist" for years now. He is no where near socialism, never has been, never will be. He is a very competent capitalist doing a bang up job for his bosses. Why would that upset us? We know exactly what his job is and we know exactly which system needs to be replaced.

(9,773 posts)losing half of my account in 2008, it has finally started showing signs of growing again. Thank you, Mr. President. Of course, those idiots in the GOP don't have a clue why this is happening. They think it is something THEY are doing right!!!

(8,377 posts)It is the S&P that topped its 5-year high. The Dow was close. I think the Borowitz tweet was from awhile back.

(61,675 posts)An EX friend was so sure that Obama's re-election was going to cause the market to dive, that she sold all of her retirement holdings. She was also convinced that she should liquidate all of her IRAs early and convert them to food products and desirable sundries like toilet paper for barter. I don't know if she did that, though.
She was certain that the few hundred points the Dow lost after election day was due to PBO's re-election. I tried to explain to her that it was due to the uncertainty about the so-called fiscal cliff, but she wouldn't listen, even though she knows my expertise in finance is greater than hers.

(34,857 posts)Even if Romney had won, the market was going to tank because the divided government meant more uncertainty. People are stupid.
