aren't exposed to the radiation, but other than that I haven't really paid attention. Do you know?

However, he predicted some pretty significant events as we approach 2014/2015

the peak in this solar cycle should be in 2013. I wonder if the effects would be delayed, or if there is disagreement about when the peak is expected.

At any rate, this one is apparently causing some spectacular aurora boreali (sp?), but no other issues.

It has been going on for a few days now, strongest in 7 years, but not the strongest ever, they aren't even worried about the space station so we have nothing to worry about...
