Boner's Orange Hue---could it be due to Alcoholism?

I'm just wondering. That yellowish skin tone is a well-known sign of liver disease. 'Course, liver diseases like cirrhosis aren't ALWAYS a result of alcohol, but I think it's the most common cause.

Thoughts?

yourself to death. Boehner has maintained That peculiar hue for far too long. He might be somewhat of a drunk but he's not in the league of the real hard core alcoholics that die from it by his age.

But I am continuously amazed by the amount of people who live in grinding poverty and yet still, time after time vote against their own best interest. Better internet service and more information in general would serve all Appalachians in the long run.

As for Boehner, it looks like a case of "I've got mine, screw you."

I went to high school in Wisconsin and there was always dark skinned kids who looked tan 24/7. This was b-4 the age of tan in a can.

When I asked them their nationality, it was always German.

I myself am Middle Eastern and was a pale face compared to them.
I was consumed with sun tan envy.

Finally, I just had to "deal with it"

I got Hep A when my brother adopted a wonderful boy from Ethiopia. Not something I recommend: jaundice, weakness, diarrhea, and hounding by health officials.

My eyes and skin were noticeably yellow.

Hepatitis A is the one people get over. And my brother is fine... the whole side of the family got Hep A vaccines, knowing that children often carry Hep A without symptoms and that the disease is not uncommon among kids from Africa.

I didn't get the word on the vaccine because I live 3000 miles away from my family, and was visiting when I caught it. My brother's mother-in-law doesn't put much stock in vaccines, so she didn't get the shot-- she and I were the only two in the family to develop Hep A.

And my nephew is 7 now, and doing great.

I've fallen in love with far too many of them (repetition compulsion is a wonderful thing. If by "wonderful", you mean "the crappiest gift-that-keeps-on-giving ever&quot , including my most recent ex, who someone said was looking a little yellow last he saw him.

You'd think I'd know by now that I can't change them.

His broken veins and red blotches that erupt from excessive alcohol use can be covered up with tans or make-up. Liver disease often shows up in the whites of the eyes as a yellowish cast. I don't notice that on him yet.

Anyone that orange from jaundice secondary to liver failure probably wouldn't be well enough physically to tolerate the activities of a congress critter. More likely it's a bad fake tan job.
