than to stand up against the 1%. If you don't believe me, join the teabaggers--fully armed. Then join the Occupy movement with only your knowledge, and see which one gets you a file with Homeland Security. Threatening our elected leaders with guns = free speech. Threatening Wall Street with words = national security risk.

(10,618 posts)"Elected" official just work for Wall Street. They're the lackeys and toadies. It's the Masters of the Universe that call all the shots; the CEOs and billionaires and chairmen of the boards. Us? We're mere fodder. "Consumers", they call us. Not "producers", not "citizens", just "consumers". Our place is to consume what they tell us to consume and ask no questions. Those occupy people just simply don't know their place. They should sit down and shut up before they get in real trouble with their masters on Wall Street.

(192 posts)but no matter how many posts, articles, and videos I read/watch/hear about not giving a fk, I always end up giving a fk anyway. It's cool as long as there's positive on which to hang. The one thing I'm taking out of the tragedies in Connecticut, India, and Ohio is that the battle lines are definitely drawn now. You're either with us, protecting women and children, or you're hurting them and/or helping those who do. I don't necessary like using the tactics of the right, but it's like that now.
