Dr. Hawking made several appearances on The Simpsons, beginning in 1992 in an episode called "They Saved Lisa's Brain". When asked in 2010 by the Guardian newspaper what the most common misconception about his work is, Prof Hawking joked: “People think I’m a Simpsons character.”

on the holodeck playing poker with Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and Data. Hawking won! And when viewing the engineering set, he looked at the warp drive and said, "I'm working on that...".

And he played himself on a couple of episodes of Futurama as well. Stephen Hawking must be a geek fanboy, too!

Mr Hawking is a great man - with a bigger mind - Just think about it - a man who is more or less stum - can not move his body - is able to grasp things that no other man, or woman for that sake is able to even phantom.. He is one of the biggest minds on our time... I admire the man - and even tried to read some of his papers - and have just getting a splitting head pain as I have no clue what so ever what he try to explain... And that was in a popular scientific book, not in some of his other papers where you need to have some insight into the complex math behind what he tried to explain..

And he have the same professorial that mr Newton had, when he was at the same University - and he is also born, 300 year (to the day) after Newton died - something mr Hawking is proud about in fact..

He is a great man - who have survived years and years after most doctors have told he should be happy if he survived the next mount.. And he have managed to be 71 year old..

Happy birthday Mr Stephen Hawking, you are a great man - with an amazing mind..
