This stems from the fact that one of the victims of the shooting in College Station, TX last August was a personal friend of mine. The shooter had a history of mental illness (yeah, big surprise, huh?) In the aftermath, I wondered out loud here on DU if the shooter's family was culpable because they knew he was mentally ill and had a cache of firearms and they didn't let the authorities know about it. I was then told that even if they did tell the authorities, there was nothing the authorities could do since they get so many calls like that in the first place.

So here we are, right?

I just don't get it....It's been quite a few years ago.....A guy I worked with,had a younger brother,still in school and who rode a school bus.....Some sort of dust up on the bus,and the driver smacks little brother.....
