It happened at about 9 a.m. and as of 9:30, students had been evacuated to the football field and there were reports one person was in custody.
Details were still sketchy at 9:45 a.m. but the Sheriff's Department has confirmed a shooter is in custody and at least two people have been wounded.

Considering the low level of education and high level of poor in the county, coupled with a high level of conservatism and gun ownership, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often here.

in Bakersfield when the guys in the car next to me started fighting with the guys in the car behind them. I couldn't get away from them and it freak the shit out of me.

...seems all that the cables are obsessed about today is how many women are in President Obama's cabinet. Maybe there's some kind of embargo or other reason. I sure hope it's not that these shootings have become so routine they don't warrant being reported.
