wanting to arm teachers....
Don't they understand how much personal information children share in school.
You want a list of crazy people with guns....
ask the kids in school if their family owns guns and if their families threaten each other and other people.....

I favor more transparency re. who has these weapons of mass destruction, if they are going to be allowed to keep them.

Another thing I could see is nationwide training in gun defense for teachers and students. I think in some schools, students are already doing drills to hide from gunmen, but I am talking about how to deal with having a weapon pointed at you. Most people just freeze. if we're going to be a society that functions about as well as the most fragile banana republic, at least we could try to help the innocent defend themselves. Many schools already have armed guards.

"Civilization" is dwindling in Murka.

because if I have to defend 30 8 year olds from danger, I want good warning about where the threat is coming from.
And its much more likely to come from a household with weapons than from one without.
