Fox News: Algebra is socialist indoctrination

Who would have thunk?

“But even worse is the way some textbooks are pushing the liberal agenda,” the Fox News host explained, pointing to an algebra worksheet that Scholastic says gives students “nsight into the distributive property as it applies to multiplication.”

“Distribute the wealth!” Bolling exclaimed, reading the worksheet. “Distribute the wealth with the lovely rich girl with a big ole bag of money, handing some money out.”

2. In fairness, he's complaining about the title of the worksheet, which is "distribute the wealth"

Not about the fact that it's teaching the distributive property.

It's less nice that nobody seems to have read it.

I think this is a pretty dumb way to illustrate the distributive property for the following reasons:
1) Money can be distributed unequally.
2) Handing out money is addition, not multiplication.
3) People do not form a ring, in particular they cannot be added together. And no, I don't count some sort of figurative let-our-powers-combine sort of way. I mean literally.

I was providing the logical alternative to the socialist indoctrination theory promoted by Fox.

16. No, but it's poorly reported. He doesn't like the title of the worksheet.

The worksheet on the distributive property is titled "Distribute the Wealth". That's what he's complaining about.

How do they keep a job!!?!?! That is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. And the stuff about GWB and no WMDs...it is true you fucking idiots! How can millionaires sit there and bray about algebra when they have a 3rd grade comprehension level? No? Maybe lower you say?

This is the same group that describes criminals as 'evil doers' to their audience. Got to keep they wording way way down there.

Every time I see the words "Ass Hole" I don't think trickle down economics.
Every time I see the word "moron" I don't think Tea Party

What an ass...
