is that the ongoing national debate about gun control qualifies as "big news" and therefore discussions of gun control are currently permitted in the General Discussion forum. We'll let you know when our opinion changes. Until then, we suggest that people who don't want to read such threads use the "Trash" and "Ignore" functions.
