Apparently someone is using a fake French utility page, for EDF, to fish for credit cards

I got an email telling me that my last payment was rejected by the bank.

Except I've NEVER had to pay French utilities in my entire life. I had to pay the German phone company for phone service in Germany once (A living nightmare), but NEVER anything to any French one.

I replied to the email and it came back rejected.

That was some cold-assed vichyssoise.

Anyone else get any emails like this?

i don't click on the links and generally just delete anything i don't recognize
