Exxon loves kids, Exxon loves schools, Exxon jobs are saving America... Why should Exxon be able to fill the news channels with lies and emotional appeals, while treating the atmosphere like an open sewer. It's a direct assault against the people who depend on this planet for their lives.

I agree with the ad, Exxon does hate children, otherwise they would stand down from their mission of trying to burn every last drop of oil on the planet. Because if they succeed in their oil burning plans, it could mean the end of human civilization, and that is not hyperbole.

... and how much it has done for nuclear proliferation? We are now worried about those weapons getting into the hands of non-governmental groups.

It was an emotional appeal (rooted in truth) that helped shape public opinion and win an election.

I think that and the exxon ad are hateful themselves. There is nothing admirable about scaring the shit out of people.

Exxon is determined to drill up every last drop of oil they can get their greedy little fingers on. The consequences of that would be truly terrifying.

perfectly clear, and they have consistently shown for years that you and and your children are not worth any consideration whatsoever. So what are you complaining about?

Exxon hates your children.. including those of the employees who sell gas and the people who drive cars to feed theirs? We live in a world where real hatred is on display, and it is not coming from people who don't make global warming a priority because it would interfere with their American Dream. Focusing on self interest is not outward hatred.
