I just got this email from Alan G.. I sadly cant make it so thought somebody else might like to try.

I have to tell you that I'm a bit disappointed.
A couple of days ago, we announced that we would choose two contributors this week to join me for breakfast on Inauguration Day, January 21st, in Washington, DC. We will cover the airfare and accommodations and the breakfast tab. Anyone who contributes $25 or more between now and Tuesday night is eligible. Two contributions mean two chances to win, etc.
The staff informs that on the day that we announced this, 106 of our supporters signed up.
106 people? Come on. There may be more folks than that at my daughter's bat mitzvah tonight.
Let's go over this.
Our President, the first Democrat since FDR to win two Presidential elections with a majority of the vote, is being sworn in for his second term. At his first inauguration, it was only 28° F., and yet almost two million people showed up. It might be worth a look.
And then there is that other thing - breakfast with me. My goodness - you hear what comes out of my mouth all of the time. This is your chance to see what goes in it.
So, anyway, to be perfectly honest, I'm nonplussed that there were only 106 takers when we announced this. I thought you liked me.
