ORLANDO, Fla. — Mitt Romney called President Obama “detached from reality” on Wednesday, accusing him of saying one thing during his State of the Union speech and doing another during his presidency.

“We’ve got a president who is detached from reality,” Mr. Romney said. “He’s detached from the people. He’s detached from his own words. His actions are so different from what he says that people are surprised and shocked.”

“As I watched the president speak, I was reminded of his trip to Florida a week ago, when he spoke in Fantasyland,” Mr. Romney said, referring to a trip Mr. Obama made to Disney World.

“The detachment between reality and what he says is so extraordinary,” Mr. Romney said. “I think it’s time to have somebody who says what he means and means what he says.”
