When Facts Arent Facts
The criterion, according to Politifact, seems to be that a fact isnt a fact if it helps a Democratic narrative.
Jared Bernstein watches the train wreck. Obama said:
which is just true. Period.
But Politifact rated it as only half true because he was essentially taking credit for job growth. He didnt actually take credit and even if he had, a fact is still a fact.
I do not think that word means what Politifact thinks it means.

Updated to add that the hacks at Politifact changed their rating to "mostly true," with the following disclaimer:
EDITORS NOTE: Our original Half True rating was based on an interpretation that Obama was crediting his policies for the jobs increase. But we've concluded that he was not making that linkage as strongly as we initially believed and have decided to change the ruling to Mostly True. The original article is archived here.
