Republicans propose Clarence Thomas monument

Just in time for Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday and the inauguration of President Barack Obama, Republicans are proposing a momument to immortalize Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. "Because," said GOP Chairman Reince Priebus, "He's probably our most prestigious Republican black guy."

Here is an artist's rendering of the proposed monument, to be erected on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

It's not like he does anything on his own at the SC anyway. Hell, Scalia might find it easier to not have to explain to Thomas how to rule on cases and just write the opinions himself. That is assuming Scalia doesn't already write Thomas' opinions for himself.

I've got a dachshund with more language skills, and more evident legal training, than Thomas. What an embarrassment.

... because that totally looks like a gravestone.

I guess they're no better at finding good artists than they are at finding good judges.
