Gingrich Campaign Admits Gingrich Wrong on Debate Claim.

Just on CNN. John King happily reporting...

Gingrich claimed in the debate that his campaign offered to ABC the testimony of
"several mutual friends" who would have stated that the
"open marriage" conversation between Newt & his then-wife never took place.

ABC denied that Newt offered such friends as support of his claim.

NOW Gingrich staff admits the only "several mutual friends" offered to ABC
were "his two daughters from his first marriage."

would have a conversation about open marriage with their spouse in public? I doubt his daughters were present for it.

6. Who would have such a conversation? A pervert. A degenerate pervert. In a word, Neut.

Only Neut would think that was an interesting topic for the guests over a snack.

I don't think it's safe to assume the same standards of decency as most parents and spouses would have.

3. On principle, How can "several mutual friends" ever testify to a negative?

All they can say is "She never talked to me about her sex life," which doesn't mean the Open Marriage conversation never happened.
