The Magistrate
(95,241 posts)Everyone who signed on to these transactions, and everyone who supervised them, should be in cells awaiting trial and looking at long terms of incarceration; the corporation should be being fined amounts equal to ten times the profits made on these deals, and if this bankrupts stock-holders and bond-holders --- well, people should be careful not to invest in a criminal enterprise.

(157 posts)Martin Luther King Jr tells us how...
Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism.
We must move past indecision to action. We must find new ways to speak for peace in Vietnam and justice throughout the developing world, a world that borders on our doors. (431 posts)it figures that the ONLY real money for the banks to make would be the drug cartels laundering money through them. It's probably the ONLY game left that the banks can play, make big money at it, and only pay a fine when caught. Seventy percent of this Economy is consumer spending. If consumers stop or curtail spending...well...you get the picture....To the banks, money doesn't talk...it S-C-R-E-A-M-S. Oh, but HSBC didn't know they were laundering drug cartel money when they were laundering drug cartel money...yes...just like the Germans didn't know that their govt. was murdering people in gas chambers when they were murdering people in gas chambers.
