(22,920 posts)The libertarians who are ill informed about this current gun control debate are feeding the lies about guns being taken away by Obama, sharing graphics like this one. They're saying Ron Paul wouldn't have allowed that and that all conservatives should have voted for Ron Paul.

BTW. Fuck Ron Paul

(25,932 posts)it's chastisement of all those repugs who gave the nomination to Mitt der Shitt instead of Ron Paul - as if that Randian nutter could have won against President Obama. It's an appeal to all the 2A nutjobs to vote for a *real* nutjob next time.

(11,464 posts)I don't see any minority in that picture either
nor do I think this is any version of OWS as 99% look like angry old white guys that make up the tealibertarianrepublican party
I also see just two women, but many more bald heads
maybe they are doling out $$$ to pay Ron Paul the 50,000 a speech he is giving now
and want his racist son to be president

(47,992 posts)personally vicious persons I have ever EVER met, in association with that group.
I have been watching this Occupy and reading their Glenn Greenwald stuff, trying to credit their point of view, but today they cam out full on, against the Green Party, against the U.N., and apparently in support of legislation in the Senate to protect the NRA's Bushmaster markets abroad, which I asked them specifically to disavow and they did not.
You know, it's frustrating, when I want to credit a point, such as the U.N. was started by bankers for bankers, I get my legs knocked out from under me by their attitude about appropriate responses to this situation. And arming people who NEVER stood a chance against those in their own country who would take advantage of them, either as cannon-fodder or as representatives of "law and order", and then bitching about U.S. drones, just does NOT work for me.
Whatever's going on, chaos makes it worse. Whatever is wrong, the American arms industry arming freelance "freedom fighters", who whether they are in fact authentic freedom fighters or not, VERY likely will not see, nor will their posterity see, what they are looking for coming out of violence, especially indiscriminate violence and I don't give a good godamn what Hedges or Greenwald says about that. They should accept the fact that maybe, just maybe, they don't KNOW what they need to know in order to make the kinds of judgements they are making!!!!!!
Those fuckers need to go to these bloody places and take up the arms that they are ever so eager to get into *A*N*Y*O*N*E*'s hands, as long as they badmouth the U.N. & BO.

(11,464 posts)the trouble with anonymous protesters is just this
anyone can call themselves anything and who knows the difference?
your other views basically are the same as mine here.
the OWS should be open by name, and all of them run for office (any office) in any state nationwide and if just 10% of 5000 candidates were to win, that is 500 people
Just 1% of candidates is 50. If those 50 are house winners, we can win back the house.
seems a no-brainer.
the anonymous method does not work
I recall after the 2010 townhalls, the so called tea party people claimed these types were not theirs either, deny, deny, they tried, but these gun pros are indeed what the teaparty libertarians want.
and I don't recall OWS being on that side.(I may be wrong though).

(90,061 posts)Assuming it's supposed to make sense, that would make sense of it. There is still the problem that he would not have been elected, but I don't want to try to carry this "making sense" stuff too far.
