After getting an e-mail warning me about a new Muslim stamp that Obama directed the USPS to produce as the new Forever stamp, I did a quick search of the first line, and tons of blogs and sites posting that message came up - including Gerogia State Representative Calvin Hill's facebook page and the website of Central Missourians for Ron Paul. Is there anything they won't believe? Maybe I should let the person who sent the e-mail to me make a fool of himself a the Post Office and actually say, ""No thank you, I do not want A Muslim Stamp on my letters!"
But I sent this reply to the e-mail I received:

The first stamp honoring Muslim holidays was a 34 cent stamp announced during the Bush administration on Aug 1, 2001. Bush did not ask for or design the stamp the USPS has a committee that takes suggestions from the public and makes decisions on what to use. Presidents do not choose stamps. Theyre kinda busy.
A year later Bush spoke at the Islamic Center in DC... George W. Bush, Dec. 5, 2002: The spirit behind this holiday is a reminder that Islam brings hope and comfort to more than a billion people worldwide. Islam affirms Gods justice and insists on mans moral responsibility. This holiday is also an occasion to remember that Islam gave birth to a rich civilization of learning that has benefitted mankind. (Is he Muslim?)
The stamp in your e-mail is not the most recent edition of the stamp that has been issued since 2001. It says ZAZZLE because it comes from a website that lets you print US postage stamps of any design you choose you, your cat, your football team, something nasty about the current president - whatever. Knock yourself out.
