Remember eight years ago?

Remember the previous President's inauguration? The one where American citizens were detained in "Free Speech Zones" a mile away while the motorcade had to speed down the parade route dodging eggs? What a difference eight years makes!

I'm in DE, now, but will leave for DC in the next hour, and have shit to do until then, but one of these days we need to talk on the phone, again. Nothing urgent. Just to catch up.

I was 39, I'm a guy, but I cried like a baby the day after the 2004 election. It was rough.

I could not watch W's first inauguration.

That footage in the documentary of the motorcade getting pelted with eggs was the most astonishing thing.

There must have been heads rolling at Secret Service after that.
