What my Republican congressman said today!

As an American, I was honored to sit on the platform today to listen and watch as President Obama took the oath of office. Although I did not vote for the President, it is my commitment to work with him, and leaders of both political parties as we look for solutions to the problems our nation faces.

sent letters to him before questioning his vote or logic, and I always get back well thought out logical and polite responses. Yes, there are some real wackos IMO in KS politics, so that's why I find him so sane and refreshing. If I have to have a republican congressman, I'll take him any day over the rest of the R herd in KS. I would also prefer him as governor if we have to have a republican than the current one.

He's as idiotic as the rest. He voted against Sandy aid and the only issue he seems to care about is the debt.

He's been rude at every town hall I've attended. He had one last year where he wouldn't let anyone in who wasn't a republican.

Kevin was a disastrously awful state rep and he's an even worse congressman. No way would I ever support him as governor. I'll vote for Mickey Mouse over him.

remarkable in itself ... in a state where republicans often run unopposed by anyone. I didn't vote for him, of course, but he appears to try to straddle the bridge between R's and D's. One of the few, if any at all, here.

just about all moderate republicans and democrats just aren't to be seen, for the most part.

Our republican governor is pretty much a shoe-in as I understand when he comes up for reelection. The state is run and controlled by the Koch Brothers and the republican controlling tentacles run wide and deep into state and local government.

And I guess this is what Kansans want. What used to balance it our was our democratic governor and the democratic senate, but that's all gone now. So, it's really all teabagger run, anymore.
