My youngest granddaughter is Sasha's age and I can just see my son in law having that kind of a "talk."

Or not. Or at least not for a long time before she is allowed to "date."

Maybe when she is 17 or so...

Best "first date-talk" I ever heard was given by an active duty marine corp SSG and went something like this:
(In a cheerful tone with a smile but also 100% seriousness)
"You know, I served multiple tours as a Marine and killed motherfuckers I never even knew who they were or what they did. Slept like a baby. Well... I know you, I know those two girls over there (gestures to mother & daughter), and they're my whole world. I think you get the picture. Have a good night kids, don't be late! (cheerfully waves goodbye)."

first child to have a date in the Whitehouse....

I remember seeing a forum with former first children where Jenna Bush mentioned her first kiss with her husband was on top of the cupola. Gerald Ford's son said much the same.
