20 below zero -- with FLOOD warnings.

Just checked the forecast in preparation for a snowboarding trip to Vermont. It is -20 real temp, with a wind chill advisory of -35. And as if that isn't bad enough, there is also a flood warning. It's so cold the rivers are freezing causing ice dams which block the flow. Then the water overflows into streets and homes and freezes there. And no immediate end in sight.

I think I'll skip the snowboarding.
