A series of simplistic questions strung together to create the impression of broad knowledge.

I loved Kerry's response, big:

Kerry: Middle East Experiencing ‘Biggest Upheaval’ In Region Since The Ottoman Empire

Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) said at his secretary of state confirmation hearing Thursday that the Middle East is experiencing the "biggest upheaval in that part of the world since the Ottoman Empire."

http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/kerry-middle-east-experiencing-biggest-upheaval-in-region

That should leave Rubio the lesser scratching his head for a few days.

Rubio said some nonsensical shit about Bush removing North Korea from the "axis of evil". None of what he said made a lick of sense and left Kerry flabbergasted.

who told him to come by for office hours, so he can explain it all to him. Meanwhile, he needs to get back to his lecture.

Anyone who thinks Rubio is a creditable presidential candidate clearly has not seem him in action in the Senate. He is completely unimpressive, playing in the minor leagues at best.

All hot air, these Republican Senators.

I have to say the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is no longer a premier committee. Think about when Biden, Lugar, Kerry, Obama, and Feingold were all in there together. Now look at it.

Bob Menendez is now the chair? Really? I like Bob a lot, but he doesn't strike me as a very influential chairman, not like what we've had before.
