I always apply Liberal amounts of sunscreen on the back of my neck when going fishing.
Pretty generally, Liberal is a good thing, it seems to me.

How about companies that have a Liberal return policy on purchases? I like those, too.

(18,184 posts)In fact, that's the way an economy grows: we're liberal with our money, we spend it on goods and services (and we make sure the needy have enough to spend on the necessities and a few treats too).
If businesses are liberal with their benefits then more people will want to work for them, and if they're liberal with their products, then more people will want to buy them.

(146,254 posts)I have to agree. Now, I can't say that that degree has been a path to riches, but that wasn't my intent, anyhow.

(25,908 posts)but I obtained it at a liberal-arts institution, and I have no regrets about having attended a school that required a full-blown term paper in every single class that I took. I looked upon it as an exercise in character-building.
