Will McConnell follow the lead of other senators elected for the first time in 1984?

If I am not mistaken, there are 4 Senators elected for the first time in 1984 who are still sitting Senators:
-Rockefeller
-Harkin
-Kerry
-McConnell.

With Kerry leaving next week most likely, and Harkin and Rockefeller announcing they are not running again, the only 1984 freshman senator remaining is the one I would not have missed.

Will McConnell take a hint from his colleagues' attitude that 30 years is enough (no offense to the 6 senators who have more seniority and some of which are great), or are people from KY going to show him the door?
