Report: Sarah Palin cost Fox News Channel nearly $16 per word over run of contract

... Palin uttered 189,221words over 150 appearances on various FNC telecasts during her now-expired contract; word broke out late last week the cable network would not renew its pact with the former GOP vice presidential candidate.

That averages out to about $15.85 per word, according to the report issued by the university’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs the morning after Julianne Moore won the Screen Actors Guild Award for portraying Palin in the HBO teleflick “Game Change.” Two weeks earlier Moore won a Golden Globe Award for playing Palin and she’d won an Emmy for same in September ...

According to the report issued Monday, Palin, not surprisingly, discussed President Obama by name 786 times on FNC over the run of her contract; she mentioned her favorite former president Ronald Reagan 41 times and Abraham Lincoln three times, the report said. She mentioned God 57 times ...

They could had her as a guest more times if they had wanted. She was willing.
