Not monotheistic, nor polytheistic.

In fact, from my reading of the Christian bible and understanding of the associated holy books, intentionally causing the death of a child not born yet is not punishable by anything but a small fine to the father, and in times of war, it's perfectly alright to cut a pregnant woman's belly open and yank the unborn out.

Ayn Rand had an abortion not because there was no god to tell her not to, but because she became pregnant and 1) didn't want to be a mother, and 2) didn't want to spend the nine hard, potentially dangerous to her health months to carry a child to term just so some other family might adopt a child from her body after the pregnancy was over. Oh, and 3), was a pretentious, selfish writer who probably had very few genes that would have benefited future generations.

If you, personally, are against abortion and feel that it is the will of your god that there shouldn't be any, just say so.
Your sentance should read:
"Ayn Rand went and got an abortion because Me and My God were not there to tell her not to."

I'm pretty sure the husband and two other children of a former co-worker of mine still wish that the god of those protesters hadn't "told them" that she shouldn't have had an abortion and stopped her from getting to the surgical appointment at the only clinic in town back in 1987. They'd still have had a mother, and she might have been able to have more children, if she hadn't died of sepsis from the failed pregnancy that was rotting in her uterus a week later.

I can only guess you misinterpreted my post. I was only trying to say that Ayn Rand was not against abortion and was an atheist. It had nothing to do with my personal beliefs. The beliefs of Ayn Rand are contrary to the tea bagger nut wings who hold her is such high esteem. They have over looked all the other things that go to make up Ayn Rand's ideology, who is nothing more than an aberration in the line of human beings, if it is alright for me to call her a human being.

It's been a bit difficult recently, as I've been subjected to a few supposed pro-lifers/second ammendment fetishists who were using their tali-bornagain status to pretend they were the privileged few doing their god's work by interfering with other people's rights and privacy - while on the workplace clock.
Their freak-out over a supposed liberal take-over of the United States has unearthed some severely screwed up priorities-or-fears.
They're living a self-fulfilling prophecy - they're going to be losing their jobs, and perhaps their freedom if they keep this craziness up and try to force their belief that everyone has to join with "Jeezus" on the public to be considered a valid human being.
