From the very red secessionist state of South Carolina (sad photo taken this morning)

Along SC-11 near the F-Mart in Cleveland. I took this with my Canon PowerShot - quickly, from across the road (with my truck in gear, ready to roll).

Time to get someone to tow it out of there. The metal's probably worth the cost of the tow.

Some coutnry manors have several broken down vehicles to decorate the yard. I've seen a lot of these in the past, but could never see doing it myself.

of his Dodge Ram dually, driving down the highway in today's wintry blast conditions! It looked like there was some "business-like" equipment mounted in the bed, so it has to be a kind of work truck. If he showed up at my place to do whatever kind of work he does, I would hand him his walking papers.

told him why. Said something like if you show such poor judgment in your choice of vehicles and lack of concern for the environment, I'm not confident in your judgment in making the best choices for me.

It looks like a small cooler. But, usually there is an hand-lettered sign - "Auto Repares" - out front, along with many Harleys.

Lots more to this little scene. But the "yard" is usually full of bikers.

I'm hoping the burned out pickup remains there long enough for me to re-shoot this with my Canon 5D-Mk2. But, if not, I still have a winner. I need to do a little cropping and shopping though.

I've waited patiently for this photo op. I knew it was coming.
