Update at 11:52 a.m.:

Officials continue to withhold the slain prosecutor’s name until his family can be notified, but details have begun to emerge about his recent cases.

Authorities with knowledge of the assistant DA’s caseload say he had been heavily involved in the investigation of members of the Aryan Brotherhood.

I hope that this gang is destroyed regardless of whether or not their responsible.

Today's shooting was quite a shock, it was a flat out premeditated murder.

He was ALWAYS armed, according to WFAA,because of his background. He was also a prosecuter in Dallas County prior to this. There are "rumors" that two Aryan Brotherhood member had been tapped to do this (not confirmed).
