Ack! Geraldo says he's seriously contemplating running for the Senate in NJ- as a repub

Television personality and radio host Geraldo Rivera announced Thursday he’s “truly contemplating” a run for Senate in New Jersey.

“I mention this only briefly, fasten your seatbelt,” Rivera said on his radio show. “I mentioned this only briefly to my wife ... but I am and I’ve been in touch with some people in the Republican Party in New Jersey. I am truly contemplating running for Senate against Frank Lautenberg or Cory Booker.”

If there is anyone that is more of an object of ridicule than Geraldo Rivera I don't know who it would be.

Well, maybe Donald Trump or the Octomom but as far as I know they aren't contemplating a Senate run.

Not enamored of Booker. He's a self-promoter and his fondness for charter schools and his apology for Obama campaign swipes at Bain Capital as an attack on private equity suggest he's just another Third Way "Democrat." New Jersey can do better.
