they are the ones who serve warrants and do the legwork - but usually criminal (DOJ) and civil (SEC) cases/suits are filed in conjunction with one another (with criminal preceding civil)

His passion and enthusiasm for the new working group was very encouraging. I found his explanation of the evolution of the investigations that were being done by Beau Biden and him in their respective States and how that evolved into what is now occurring, the full force of the federal government behind them, was fascinating.

Eric Schneiderman's appointment doesn't have to be approved by Congress nor does the task force that has been set up to investigate "Mortgage Origination and Securitization Abuses".

It is up and running already which is a refreshing change from the blocking actions of the repubs in Congress.

Rachel showed a video clip of the president referencing this action during the SOTU. Boner looked really disgusted by the president's announcement. His eyes cut hard to the left and stayed there for several seconds.

I will follow this story closely, as I am starting to think maybe something is whacky about my mortgage.

I met him the first time in 2006. I attended a function he put together to raise awareness for the funding shortfalls of NYC public schools. He is an amazing guy and I would not be surprised at all to see him as a Senatorial or Presidential candidate some day.

It’s not so much that the banksters can’t find the paper on homes; rather the banksters are recreating the paper in favor of themselves so they can claim to own loans they never funded in the first place. This is why document mills exist.

I support Attorney General Schneiderman’s efforts but he was rather kind in speaking of the banksters. They didn’t accidentally find themselves making “so much money” with MBS that it “was just hard to let go of.” Stealing as much wealth as possible was always the intent. Years earlier the banks set up MERS by intent and design to mask the trail and history of mortgage loans and enable mortgage securitization. The Glass-Steagall Act certainly wasn’t accidentally repealed. This scheme was long planned and well executed for the most part.

I’ve been hoping that homeowners would come to understand how all the securities fraud that took place on Wall Street is directly connected to their own mortgage loans and property Titles, regardless of foreclosure.

The same loan ownership issues and Title problems exist whether the loan is timely paid or not. That’s why I filed suit, to clear my Title and obtain a valid Deed.

Unlike so many other homeowners, I no longer view my mortgage as some sort of bill or liability. Since I am owed more money than I MIGHT still owe on the loan, I view the contract now as an asset.

I’m aware of a few other DU members who are checking their mortgage loans and considering filing suit the same as I. That seems prudent to me since it is very unlikely that homeowners will ever receive a valid Deed and clear Title upon completion of their payments.

There are many people and groups across the country working toward accountability for the banksters. I can see where nearly every aspect of this massive fraud is under attack by numerous parties. There should be an expectation on our part that the banksters will be held accountable for all wrongdoing. The greater the expectation, the greater the repercussions would be if justice is not served.

Lonestarnot, to the best of my knowledge we still haven’t had a hearing scheduled and the Defendant still hasn’t filed a single thing other than numerous Objections. The Defendant hasn’t answered a single question or produced a single document. Funny, but it appears that banksters don’t appreciate being called out on fraud.

Understandably, I’m anxious to get through this first suit because I get to sue even more banksters in the second lawsuit.
