CNN is also asking Romney to remove its news clips from his attack ads

NBC isn't the only network objecting:

Several networks have asked the Mitt Romney campaign to stop airing an ad in Florida called “Mr. Washington Insider” which targets Newt Gingrich. The ad includes various news clips going back to Gingrich’s days as House Speaker. NBC News has asked that the ad be pulled as it includes a clip from “NBC Nightly News” when it was anchored by Tom Brokaw. CNN’s Anderson Cooper is also featured in the advertisement. CNN executives, too, have asked the Romney campaign to remove those clips from the spot. CBS’s Jan Crawford, even Carole Simpson, who hasn’t anchored at ABC News since 2003, are also included in the ad

Remember back to 2008 when McCain and Palin were called out week after week to stop using music at their rallies?

The republicans seem to think that all content is fair use.
